Getting Started with Vault: Crosslist in Minutes
Getting Started with Vault: Crosslist in Minutes
If you're selling on multiple marketplaces, you already know the pain of creating the same listing over and over again. Vault eliminates that entirely. This guide walks you through setting up your account, connecting your platforms, and publishing your first crosslisted item.
Step 1: Create Your Account
Head to vaultresell.app/signup and create your free account. The free tier gives you 15 active listings across all connected platforms — more than enough to get started and see results.
No credit card is required. You can upgrade later when you're ready to scale.
Step 2: Connect Your Marketplaces
From the dashboard, navigate to Settings and connect the platforms you sell on. Vault currently supports eBay, Vinted, Depop, TikTok Shop, Etsy, Shopify, Facebook Marketplace, Vestiaire Collective, and Whatnot.
Each platform uses its own connection method — OAuth for most, and the Vault Chrome extension for Vinted, Facebook Marketplace, and Vestiaire Collective. The extension captures your session securely so Vault can manage listings on your behalf.
Step 3: Create Your First Listing
Click New Listing in the dashboard. Fill in your item details once:
- Title and description — Write it once and Vault adapts it per platform. You can also override titles and descriptions for individual platforms if you want to optimise for each marketplace's search algorithm.
- Photos — Upload up to 6 images. Use the built-in photo enhancer to improve lighting and remove backgrounds with one click.
- Price — Set your price and use the inline profit estimator to see exactly what you'll earn on each platform after fees.
- Category and condition — Select once, and Vault maps them to each platform's requirements.
Step 4: Select Platforms and Publish
Choose which platforms to list on. Vault shows you platform-specific requirements as you go. Hit Publish and Vault sends your listing to every selected marketplace simultaneously.
You'll see real-time status indicators as each platform processes your listing. Most go live within seconds.
Step 5: Let Vault Handle the Rest
Once your items are live, Vault's inventory sync keeps everything in order. When an item sells on any platform, Vault automatically delists it everywhere else — preventing double-sells, which is the number one headache for multi-platform sellers.
Your dashboard shows all listings in one place with status badges for each platform.
AI-Powered Listing Creation
Short on time? Use Vault's AI listing generator. Upload a photo of your item and the AI will generate a title, description, price suggestion, category, and condition — all in seconds. Review, tweak if needed, and publish.
